Rare/sporadic error messages when viewing online lesson recordings

Hello students!

In the past a couple of students have seen the following messages when taking online lessons. I ran into the same issue myself today!! That is a sign — time to write a post about it.

This is when google gets confused somehow — ( a nicer way than saying it is a Google bug that sporadically acting up). Fortunately, it happens very rarely and we can always work around it by doing some of the following:

  • Use Chrome
  • Restart Chrome
  • Log out from your Chrome and log back in
  • If you have multiple accounts that you switch around in Chrome, log out from all of them and only log in to the correct one (the one you are enrolled with)
  • If you don’t want to log out from all other accounts, use an Incognito window and log in
  • Try a different computer

The theory about this is that Google/Chrome is somehow confused about who you are when there are multiple accounts associated with the browser that we usually switch around with. Hope they fix the problem soon!
